Renuvion Skin Tightening Treatment
The Renuvion Skin Tightening procedure will start with the administration of anesthesia. From there, a small incision will be made, and the Renuvion wand will be placed under the skin. The plasma and radiofrequency energy will then heat up the tissues, stimulating collagen production and tightening the skin. Helium gas is also emitted to cool the treatment area and control the temperature.
Your skin will continue to produce collagen and tighten after treatment and in the months following it. The procedure typically takes an hour or less, depending on the treatment area.

After your procedure, you can expect to feel some mild discomfort, redness, and swelling. The redness and discomfort should diminish after a week, but it can take a few weeks for the swelling to disappear fully. We’ll provide you with a compression garment to wear for the first 72 hours to help ease swelling.
As you heal, you’ll need to limit your activities and rest for at least the first week. You will likely be able to return to work during the second week of your recovery. Your provider will let you know when you can return to your normal level of activity.
As for results, it typically takes 6-9 months before you see the full results as the collagen builds up and the skin tightens.
